Situated in the bend of the road where Cashel meets High Street, this pitch is home to the statue of Te Kiheru Wai ö Tahu by Lewis Tamihana Gardiner, regarded as one of the most innovative and respected Māori jade artists of his generation.

Hack Circle is the heart of Christchurch’s shopping precinct, with just a short walk to our other busking pitches; Bridge of Remembrance (5mins) and Stewart Plaza (2 mins).

Enjoy busking performances here every day of the festival 19 – 28 January.

This busking pitch is wheelchair accessible.

The Hereford Street Carpark is your closest option, exiting just a short 30 second walk from the pitch.
